The single-mode fiber laser, TruFiber, from TRUMPF has top beam quality. This enables highly dynamic welding and cutting processes. However, it also allows for a reduced heat-affected zone and delicate structures. Furthermore, the laser comes into its own with welding in conjunction with beam oscillation (wobbling). In doing so, it achieves top-quality results with an increased welding depth and variable seam width. Areas of application for the TruFiber include the fields of electromobility, electrical engineering, and electronics, as well as precision engineering and medical technology.

The processing optics and the laser light cable connector can simply and conveniently be cooled using the cooling water of the laser. Corresponding cooling water outflows are located on the rear of the TruFiber. Separate cooling of the optics/the laser light cable is therefore not necessary.
Performance Level e allows the OFF and ON-times of the emergency stop safety circuit to be reduced to 25 ms or 90 ms. These fast OFF and ON-times reduce the cycle time of your systems, particularly if you produce components that require the safety circuit to open for transfer.
