TruMicro Series 5000
The lasers of the TruMicro series 5000 are ultra-short pulsed lasers with power of up to 100 watts and pulse energy of up to 250 microjoules. The extremely short pulses, of less than 10 picoseconds vaporize nearly any material so quickly that no heat affected zone can be detected. These lasers allow microprocessing with an optimum combination of quality, productivity and cost-effectiveness.

Easy scaling
The decisive advantage of TRUMPF picosecond lasers is their simple scaling in power classes of up to 100 watts, at pulse energies of up to 250 microjoulses. Penetration of these power classes is only possible with disk laser technology. It is superior to other technologies with respect to power and pulse energy, and still has outstanding beam quality.
Simple production
High peak pulse powers of up to 40 megawatts allow efficient frequency conversion into the visible and ultraviolet spectral ranges. Semiconductor materials, dielectrics and plastics can therefore be processed with very high quality and high throughput.
Simply efficient
The high average power of up to 100 watts guarantees high production throughput. Moreover, the total cost of the ultra-short pulsed lasers in the TruMicro Series 5000 over their service lifetime are so low they have no competitors in the industry.
