With the compact and high-precision 5-axis laser machine TruLaser Cell 3000 you can weld and cut in two or three dimensions. In addition, the 3D laser machine is also ideal for laser metal deposition (LMD). From prototypes to large-scale series production with extensive automation, this multi-talented machine displays its superiority across the board. This applies in particular to cost-effective laser processing of small to medium-sized components with top quality.
You can operate the TruLaser Cell 3000 intuitively and easily with the interface developed by TRUMPF on the basis of the Siemens 840D solutionline. During cutting, you can use the cutting parameters stored on the control system and optimized by TRUMPF for the most common laser types, material types, and material thicknesses. Due modular construction system is easy to retrofit or upgrade with a large number of options and processing optics.
The TruLaser Cell 3000 has a unique optics system for automatic adjustment of the focal diameter and focal position. There is no need to change the optics. Depending on the processing task – deep welding, heat conduction welding, cutting thick and thin sheets, or LMD – it is possible to implement variable, program-controlled aspect ratios. System is easy to retrofit or upgrade with a large number of options and processing optics.
The machine is equipped with highly dynamic linear direct drives. These enable fast and precise positioning and operate almost entirely wear-free. Another advantage is that with the boom construction with up to four axes (X, Y, Z, and B axis) directly in the beam, you can very easily automate the laser machine for high quantities.
The direct, absolute measurement system with glass scale performs the positioning measurements for the X/Y axis. For the Z axis the rotor position sensor is integrated in the motor. Additional evaluation of the axis position is performed by absolute encoders. No reference run is necessary when starting up the control. The repetition accuracy of up to < 5 µm sets new standards.
In two-station operation with a rotary table you can produce and set up at the same time. This is particularly recommended for high quantities. In addition, a single loading and unloading position facilitates component handling. On request, robots can even take care of loading and unloading your parts. Side accessibility to the TruLaser Cell 3000 is excellent. This also enables smooth integration of the machine in complete production lines, including linear transfer and workpiece exchange systems.
