The preform feature of the TruPrint 1000 is suitable for the precise and fast production of individual dentures (single abutments). Since only the patient-specific portion of a tooth is printed, the part costs are significantly reduced. Up to 64 individual single abutments can be printed on preforms and simply removed from the plate. Automated preform recognition is an important milestone in the further development of additive manufacturing technologies for the dental industry.
